When the Kansas City Chiefs played the Denver Broncos in the last regular season game, Taylor Swift did not play.
The 35-year-old pop queen continued her season-long trend of missing all away games on Sunday, when she was conspicuously absent from the Mile High Stadium stands.
The “Fortnight” singer chose to see boyfriend Travis Kelce at Arrowhead Stadium this season because they went unbeaten at home, even if they had to enter enemy territory the previous season.
Most of the team’s starters, including Kelce, missed Sunday’s game because the Chiefs had already secured the No. 1 spot in the AFC.
Prior to playing in the divisional round on January 18 or 19, the 35-year-old tight end and his colleagues will have an additional week off to recuperate.
Swift will undoubtedly be in the stands to witness the Chiefs battle for a sixth consecutive AFC Championship berth, despite the fact that she has missed Kelce’s last two games.
Although they enjoy home-field advantage, they have not yet revealed their opponent or precise timetable.
Since wrapping off her historic Eras Tour this month, Swift has mostly been with Kelce, whom she started dating in July 2023.
The Grammy winner has considered Nashville “more of a home base than LA or NY since it’s closer to Kansas City,” a source previously told Page Six.
Swift also has a house in Beverly Hills, California, a $50 million Tribeca property, and a $17 million mansion in Rhode Island in addition to her two Tennessee estates.
According to a source, Taylor and Travis lead quite restless lives. Taylor has residences all over the world, but they live together everywhere.
The couple actually went out with pals, including Jack Antonoff and his wife Margaret Qualley, for a wonderful weekend in New York City.
While in New York City, they also went to the birthday celebration of Swift’s friend Ashley Avignone.
Due to the athlete’s work schedule, Swift and Kelce “flew back together to Kansas City on Monday” after the busy weekend.
