Fans were calling for ESPN’s Lee Corso to call it after the senior analyst nearly hurt himself on live television on Thursday night.

Corso was part of the ESPN pregame program ahead of the Orange Bowl clash between Notre Dame and Penn State on the night and got down to a bit of dancing with the Fighting Irish’s Leprechaun. He would back up into the helmets in front of the panel, nearly falling.

Fortunately, the Leprechaun held him the whole time and kept him up.

Fans Think Lee Corso Is Doing Too Much

Some fans are of the view that Le Corso is doing too much and should probably think about retiring.

“I’m not sure who thought it was wise for an 89-year-old to dance on the pregame show…” Dove Kleiman wrote.

“they gotta let Lee go home man 🤣🤣🤣,” someone laughed.

“Corso needs to go away,” someone else suggested.

“OMG!! Please, please, please let Lee Corso go out with some shred of dignity…ESPN is a joke!” a comment read.

“Certainly not funny if he had fallen and injured himself!  Ugh!! 😐” a fan pointed out.

Still, there were some users who enjoyed the jig from the veteran and thought he should be allowed to live it up.
