Police reportedly got involved after a suspicious hiker was seen on a remote road in Topanga near a Los Angeles fire zone.
Persons who live close to the Pacific Palisades fire are naturally suspicious of any strange sightings in the area. One such resident confronted a hiker in said California community and, according to TMZ, police have gotten involved.
The outlet has obtained footage of a heated interaction between the resident and the hiker, whose answers to basic questions were indistinct. The lone individual, who was carrying a backpack, was grilled over where he was going and what he was doing with the bag in a fire zone.
“Definitely not any like lighter fluid or anything of the sort,” he’s heard saying at one point after a question about what was in his backpack.
