Medics attended to a man who collapsed courtside during the San Antonio Spurs vs. Memphis Grizzlies game.

Monday evening’s game had to be delayed after a fan suffered a medical emergency at FedEx Forum.

Footage from the game showed a fan with his shirt either cut open or raised as medical personnel pumped his chest in order to bring him back.

As a result, players from both the Spurs and Grizzles were sent back to the locker room.

Despite it being a serious situation, fans in the arena still recorded the fan and posted about it online.

The person was given CPR while still on the court as the situation appeared to be extremely serious as reporter Matt Infield relayed it also appeared that the medical staff attempted to shock the person’s heart back.

Soon, that Grizzlies fan would be taken off the court on a stretcher.

The Grizzlies And Spurs Game Eventually Began After Serious Situation

A medical emergency at the Memphis Grizzlies game on Monday night against the San Antonio Spurs led to a delay in the game after a fan seemingly passed out.

Emergency medical personnel rushed to the floor and gave CPR to a courtside fan, who was taken off the floor on a stretcher.

Players had to be sent back to the locker room.

Referees called the Grizzlies and Spurs coaches over to notify them of the delay.

Once removed, both teams returned to the floor with about 15 minutes on the shot clock to prepare for the delayed game.
