Social media detectives think that Cleveland Browns superstar defensive end Myles Garrett dropped a compelling hint on his next team during Super Bowl week in New Orleans.

On Monday, Myles Garrett released a statement to announce he requested a trade from the Browns. The 29-year-old and the No. 1 pick in the 2017 NFL Draft has spent his entire eight-year career with the AFC North organization.

The six-time Pro Bowler made it clear that he wants to play for a Super Bowl contender, so just about any playoff-caliber team should be interested in trading for the future Hall of Famer.

Well, social media detectives think that Myles Garrett dropped a hint on his next team during Super Bowl week in the Big Easy. More specifically, they believe Garrett will be traded to the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles:

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman is no stranger to making blockbuster moves, as we saw with the recent additions of A.J. Brown, Saquon Barkley, Darius Slay, and C.J. Gardner-Johnson.

So nobody should be surprised if Roseman goes all-in and makes a superstar trade for a superstar like Garrett, especially if the Eagles lose their second Super Bowl in three years to the Kansas City Chiefs.

The 2023 Defensive Player of the Year has two seasons remaining on the five-year, $125 million extension he signed in 2020.

Myles Garrett Will Fetch The Browns A King’s Ransom Of A Return

Trading Garrett will hurt the Cleveland Browns and their fanbase sentimentally, but it’s the right thing to kick-start their rebuild. Cleveland has to move on from quarterback Deshaun Watson and start from scratch, so it makes sense to trade the franchise star when the return will likely net multiple first-round picks.
