Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, has responded to divorce advice from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith following the tennis icon’s controversial appearance during Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show.

Williams joined Kendrick Lamar for his performance on the night and was seen crip walking while he sang “Not Like Us,” an act many interpreted as a shot at her ex, Drake.

The 43-year-old upset lots of people and has taken quite a bit of heat for crip walking, given that her sister was murdered by members of the Crips gang 22 years ago. Stephen A was opposed to it for a different reason, however.

The ‘First Take’ host said he would have moved on from Serena if he were her husband, as it appears she still has her ex on her mind.

“If I’m married and my wife is going to join trolling her ex, go back to his a**. Cause clearly you don’t belong with me,” he said on Monday’s show. “What you worried about him for and you’re with me?”

Ohanian, who is pretty active on social media, having founded one himself (Reddit), has responded to Smith, making a thinly-veiled threat.

“Armenian men: we’re a little extreme when it comes to family,” he wrote after a fan called the ESPN star a “weirdo.”
