Welch, better known as the ‘hawk-tuah’ girl, disappeared from the internet at the end of 2024 after her cryptocurrency completely bombed, leaving a lot of fans upset.
Welch shot to viral fame when she was interviewed by TimmandDeeTV in Nashville, Tennessee, in June 2024. She responded to one of their questions by saying her iconic “hawk-tuah” catchphrase, which quickly took over social media.
Instead of taking fifteen minutes and then disappearing, she started building an empire that would last much longer.
Seemingly, nothing was stopping her until a failed cryptocurrency launch became her demise.
Welch is determined to clear her name and rebuild her career after the huge crash of the $HAWK meme-coin, which Welch had promoted.
There is a lawsuit against her, but she has not been charged with any crimes.
The lawsuit against her and others accuses them of unlawfully promoting and selling an unregistered cryptocurrency.

Haliey Welch, the young woman who became famous overnight after the release of the viral “Hawk Tuah” video, has broken her silence once again. This time, she decided to poke fun at things said about her over the past few months.
On Tuesday, the 22-year-old internet personality posted an Instagram Reel poking fun at the speculation about her disappearance.
In the video, she can be seen snoring while in bed as the camera pans to a cross in a graveyard. The cross reads “RIP Haliey Welch” and has the dates June 11 and December 4 written on it.

Different headlines could be seen flashing on the screen about her ‘death’ and even pregnancy. Haliey Welch even had a fake baby bump.
She then wakes up from the dream, only to fall back asleep as she starts to dream about her being in jail, which was another rumor about her disappearance.
At the end of the clip, her friend could be heard saying, “Haliey, get your a** up. We got stuff to do.”
This seems to suggest that she will be making her comeback.
