Everyone Is Mourning The Tragic Loss Of Beloved Sportscaster Following Fatal Accident

St. Louis is one of the most respected sports cities of all time, and it unfortunately lost one of its greats on Saturday. Famous St. Louis broadcaster Brian McKenna was killed in a car accident at the age of 61.

According to reports, McKenna was found at the intersection of Hampton Avenue and Nottingham Avenue, where paramedics pronounced him dead on the scene. Since the horrible news broke, there have been numerous outpourings of support for the family.

“Our hearts are broken. The family & every person whose life this incredible human touched are in our thoughts. We’ll work to keep his light shining bright in this city. It’s hard to lose your Heroes, and Brian McKenna was just that to so many,” said the St. Louis Hero Organization.

Not only was he well known as the host of KFNS 590 The Fan, but McKenna was also well known for his charity work around St. Louis, and the Hero Organisation was one of the many charities he could support during his lifetime, including a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Congressman Wesley Bell weighed in on the tragic loss, saying, “Saddened to hear of the tragic passing of Brian McKenna, a beloved voice in St. Louis radio. His personality and contributions to the STL airwaves will be deeply missed. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.”

“His charismatic personality was infectious. His positive attitude, toughness, as well as his sense of humor, during his battles to beat cancer was inspiring to everyone that knew him,” added the “Brighter Side of Blue podcast.
