The NFL offseason arrests continue to add up. And the latest involves another young, big-name wide receiver.
According to reports from ESPN, Minnesota Vikings wideout Jordan Addison was arrested late Friday night when he was found passed out behind the wheel of his white Rolls Royce. The police report states that the 22-year-old was blocking a lane on the I-105 westbound to Sepulveda Boulevard northbound.
After being discovered sleeping in the driver’s seat, Addison was investigated for driving under the influence, leading to his arrest at roughly 11:36 pm PT. He was released from prison two hours later — at 1:36 am, Sunday morning.
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison was arrested Friday near Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of driving under the influence, the California Highway Patrol said Sunday night.

There’s no word yet on the results of Addison’s BAC test. This marks the second run-in with the law since the former USC Trojan was selected by the Minnesota Vikings with the 23rd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft. Last summer, he was stopped by police after getting caught driving 140 miles per hour.
The Vikings have since released the following statement: “We are aware of Jordan Addison’s arrest this past Friday and are currently gathering more information regarding the incident.”
Jordan Addison enjoyed a fine rookie season in Minny, racking up 70 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. He’ll be counted on to take another big step alongside Justin Jefferson in year two, although his latest slipup could result in the youngster missing a game or two in 2024.
Jordan Addison Joins Rashee Rice With His Latest Antics
Addison isn’t the only first-round wide receiver from the 2023 draft to find himself in trouble with the law this offseason. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice is also facing charges after he was involved in an ugly crash while driving his Lamborghini at high speeds back in March.
While Rice hasn’t been handed a punishment from the league yet, some expect that he will miss at least half the season for his actions. Could Roger Goodell be equally hard on Jordan Addison? We’ll find out soon enough.
