PHOTO: NFL Fans Are Disappointed With Vikings’ WR Jordan Addison’s Latest Social Media Post Following DUI Arrest

NFL fans are disappointed with Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison following a concerning post on his Instagram story.

As reported by ESPN’s Kevin Seifert, Jordan Addison was arrested close to the Los Angeles International Airport las Friday for suspicion of DUI. This came less than a year after he was cited for a speeding incident in which Addison pled to speeding, resulting in a $686 fine.

Addison’s arrest came just days after rookie teammate Khyree Jackson and his two friends, Isaiah Hazel and AJ Lytton Jr., were tragically killed in a car accident in Upper Marlboro, Maryland by a suspected drunk driver.

Two days after his DUI arrest, Jordan Addison shared a photo of what appears to be a mimosa on his Instagram story. Fans were understandably upset and disappointed with Addison’s latest social media activity:

On top of that, some folks noticed that Addison removed all of his Minnesota Vikings-related images from Instagram. It’s too early to jump to conclusions, but some naturally believe it’s a sign that the team is done with the USC product.

Here’s hoping that Jordan Addison gets the help he needs. Ultimately, his well-being and hopeful lessons learned from these recent legal issues matter far more than football.

Jordan Addison’s Promising Tenure With Vikings In Jeopardy

It’s not a stretch to wonder if the 2023 first-round pick is already on borrowed time now in Minnesota. Even if he stays on the team, it’s quite possible that the league or Vikings will issue a suspension to the second-year wideout.

Addison was one of the top rookies of 2023, totaling 70 receptions for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns. His 10 receiving scores were tied with Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta for most among rookies.

The Vikings were hoping that Addison would be the ideal No. 2 WR to superstar Justin Jefferson. But it remains to be seen how both sides will handle his concerning legal matter as training camp approaches.
