VIDEO: EA Sports Found A Genius Way To Use ‘Enter Sandman’ For Virginia Tech’s Entrance Without Having To Pay Metallica A Single Cent

After an 11-year hiatus, EA Sports is back with College Football 25 for this season.

For the first time since 2013, there’s a college football video game for the masses to enjoy, and fans have noticed many things about the new game.

EA Sports College Football 25 granted fans of the one-time NCAA Football franchise a way to enjoy simulated college football in every fashion imaginable.

One of the best things about the game is the many entrances for the teams.

The popular game did not feature Virginia Tech’s “Enter Sandman,” but it did feature something that sounded exactly like it, which is described as “generic rock music.”

There have been issues with licensing and rights, which is not shocking given Metallica’s history. Back in 2000, the famous rock band was the plaintiff in a groundbreaking lawsuit against the file-sharing site Napster, where they became the first artist to file a suit for unlawful use of digital audio and copyright infringement.
