Former MLB All-Star and seven-time Cy Young winner Roger Clemens exposed President Donald Trump’s golf game with a fascinating post on his Instagram account.

Roger Clemens is one of several notable MLB figures to publicly support Donald Trump, along with the likes of Johnny Damon, Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera, Darryl Strawberry and Steve Garvey.

Trump has played on the greens with plenty of high-profile athletes, including Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre, golfing greats Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus and active stars like Rory McIlroy and Bryson DeChambeau.

Per The Daily Beast, Roger Clemens, son Kacy and John O’Leary, the director of Golf at Trump National Golf Club Washington, D.C., recently played a round of golf with the president.

And for those who believe the stories of Donald Trump being a cheater in golf, Roger Clemens may have inadvertently helped fuel the popular urban legend.

On his Instagram account, the two-time World Series champion posted the final scorecard from their round. It was none other than Trump who finished with the worst score of 77 on the par-72 course:

We can’t help but wonder if Clemens bothered to ask Trump for permission before posting the scorecard.

Donald Trump’s Alleged History Of Cheating In Golf Has Been Well-Documented

Trump’s caddie was caught on camera cheating during a round of golf in South Ayrshire, Scotland, last month, and again in Bedminster, New Jersey. Those instances have only the rumors that he has failed to follow the rules and etiquette of the beautiful game properly.

Legendary sportswriter Rick Reilly published a book in 2019 called “Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump,” a thorough dive into the president’s history of cheating in the sport.

There’s one well-known story about Trump playing a round of Mike Tirico, Jon Gruden and Ron Jaworski. According to Tirico, Trump’s caddie came up to him and said he saw the president pick up his (Tirico’s) ball and throw it in the bunker after a beautiful shot.

So, did Donald Trump have an “off” round when he played with the Clemens and O’Leary? Or did he just have to play by the rules and wound up losing fair and square? We suppose the answer only lies between those four men.
