Travis Kelce still cannot believe that he is engaged to Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs star tight end finally broke his silence about his engagement to the pop superstar on Wednesday’s episode of “New Heights.”

Since their record-setting Instagram post, plenty has been said and written about their future wedding, but nothing has come from the happy couple.

“It’s been really fun telling everybody who I’m going to be spending the rest of my life with,” Travis Kelce told listeners while his brother watched on.

The veteran tight end went on about how “cool” it feels to “[call] someone your fiancée,” which he did at the University of Nebraska versus University of Cincinnati game last week when they both showed up in public for the first time.

“It was the first time introducing Taylor as my fiancée to a few of my teammates,” Travis recalled.

In addition to his own situation, Travis Kelce also shared some advice on asking your significant other to marry you.

“Man, you’ve gotta know your gal. You’ve gotta know your gal or your significant other. You’ve gotta know them,” Kelce added.

“You can’t let how somebody else does it make you feel like you need to do it that way.”

Jason Kelce agreed, adding, “You can’t read about it in a Cosmopolitan magazine and expect they’re gonna know your person. You gotta know your person.”

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end responded, “You might be able to get some ideas from how other people did it,” but Jason disagreed, saying, “F— that, f— those other people.”

“Yeah, I hear you. It might get the creative juices going,” Travis further clarified.

“I would just say know your partner, know who you’re doing it for and do it for the right reasons and everything else will be beautiful.”

Travis Kelce Needs To Step Up In A Huge Way During Week 1

Travis Kelce will be 36 this year.

This crafty veteran TE led the Chiefs in receiving yards for many years, but not many players will sustain that type of production forever.

The team will need him to be Superman once again, with many wideouts scheduled to miss Week 1.

The Chiefs will be without wide receiver Jalen Royals for their Week 1 game due to a knee injury. On top of that news, Rashee Rice has already been suspended for the first six games of the season.

Not to mention, Marquise Brown is also dealing with an ankle injury. This leaves the WR room with Xavier Worthy and JuJu Smith-Schuster as key figures for the offense.

You can never count out Travis Kelce, who might likely have extra motivation with Taylor Swift in Brazil to watch him play.
