Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson apologized this week after he was caught on camera shoving an unruly Buffalo Bills fan in retaliation during a touchdown celebration late in the third quarter of a 41-40 loss on Sunday Night Football.
The Bills fan, wearing a red jersey in the front row of Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium, smacked the helmets of both Baltimore wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins and Jackson on the helmet while a flock of Ravens celebrated along the stadium’s wall.
Jackson pushed the fan back into the stands with a two-handed shove.
In the aftermath, a hilarious Buffalo Bills fan dropped a video while rocking a neck brace and apologizing for his actions. It wasn’t the actual guy, but he still released a fake statement.
That same guy was back this week with a new video that showed Baltimore Ravens fans jumping him after the incident.
It was later reported this week that Jackson won’t be fined for the interaction with the Buffalo Bills fan.
Buffalo Bills Fan Will Never Get To Experience In-Game Excitement Again
In the farewell season at Highmark Stadium, one Buffalo Bills fan won’t ever get to step foot in the new stadium.
Late in the third quarter of the Bills’ 41-40 comeback win over the Baltimore Ravens, one fan shoved the helmets of DeAndre Hopkins and Lamar Jackson after a touchdown reception by the veteran receiver.
He would then be ejected.
I hope he loved every minute of game action because it would be his final one ever.
On Monday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported via a team official that the fan has been “indefinitely banned from Bills and NFL stadiums.”
In addition to the indefinite ban, his parting gift was a two-handed shove from the Ravens quarterback. It couldn’t have happened to a better person.
