Everyone noticed the same thing after Tyler Robinson’s mugshot went into circulation on social media following his arrest.
Robinson, 22, turned himself in to the authorities, having reportedly confessed to the fatal shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Wednesday.
Kirk was killed by a single bullet to the neck while engaged in debate on the Utah Valley University compound. His shooter escaped, leaving a rifle behind. But the manhunt appears to be over, with the chief suspect now in custody.
A mugshot has gone viral on Twitter/X, and many users noticed how devoid of emotion Robinson looked.
“He is a stone cold assassin,” someone claimed.
“No no no, bro look like the terminator without feelings or the ability to feel. We need him to be able to feel things 🤧🤧,” said another.
“He’s kinda happy he did it,” another user offered.
“I’m struggling to believe this is the only person involved in this. He honestly looks like the type to cry when he touches a gun,” someone countered.
Tyler Robinson Reportedly Confessed To His Father
Tyler Robinson, a Utah resident, attended Utah State University. According to reports, he confessed to his father, Matt Robinson, a former law enforcement officer, who contacted a youth pastor, who in turn reached out to a U.S. Marshal.
He was persuaded to drive to a police station in St. George, Utah, where he turned himself in without incident.
Surveillance footage showed Robinson arriving near UVU in a grey Dodge Challenger around four hours before the shooting. He would escape after jumping off a rooftop and into a nearby wooded area, where a high-powered bolt-action rifle was recovered.
Engraved messages were also found on the ammunition, reading: “Hey fascist! Catch!” and “If you read this you are gay lmao.”
He is said to have told friends he needed to recover a rifle from a “drop point” in online messages.
Tyler Robinson, who was shown wearing a Donald Trump costume in a photo from 2017, had his political affiliation registered as “none,” but is said to have become politically vocal in recent years.
