Hatton, a household name in UK boxing, captured multiple world titles in the light-welterweight class and one at welterweight. After an illustrious career, which included earning the 2005 Ring Fighter of the Year award, he rightfully secured his induction into the International Boxing Hall of Fame in 2024.
Hatton retired with a record of 48 fights: 45 wins (32 by KO) and three losses. His final professional fight against Vyacheslav Senchenko was a defeat. Subsequently, after retiring, Hatton went on to coach and promote boxing.
