Former NFL punter Chris Kluwe could’ve kept his opinion about Charlie Kirk to himself, but he chose not to, and now he is getting major backlash.

After the political assassination of the conservative activist, the former NFL punter took to the social media platform Bluesky, where he seemingly mocked the founder of Turning Point USA.

Kluwe has become known for his outspoken political views and, earlier this year, was arrested for an explosive anti-MAGA rant at a city council meeting in Huntington Beach, California, after vowing to perform “civil disobedience.”

Kluwe claimed that “MAGA Stands For” issues such as violating transgender rights, racism, censorship, book bans, and firing military veterans. He ended up on the ground in handcuffs.

Kluwe, who was fired from his job as a high school football coach earlier this year, praised Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., for dismissing the idea that Democratic rhetoric led to the assassination of Kirk.

“F—ing finally. Fight back against the bulls— framing that tries to make Dems responsible for everything. The GOP is choosing to create this kind of societal environment. They could stop it at any time. They have agency as well. They’re not f—ing children (except when, well, you know),” Kluwe wrote.

Kluwe had previously suggested Charlie Kirk, who was shot in the neck, created “the kind of society he currently lives in.”

“It is possible to hold both of these things true at the same time: 1) political violence is never an appropriate choice in a civilized society, 2) Charlie Kirk’s dream is to create exactly the kind of society he currently lives in, as spoken from his own mouth,” Kluwe wrote.

Following the shooting of Charlie Kirk, he would mock him.

Kluwe wrote the caption, ” ‘Hahaha yes! This rules!’ ‘what the f— .’”

Charlie Kirk To Receive Medal of Freedom

Charlie Kirk has been widely praised online since his shocking shooting death.

President Donald Trump, who was good frineds with him, said he will posthumously award Kirk the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He also added that he wanted his supporters to respond with “nonviolence.”

“He was an advocate of nonviolence. That’s the way I’d like to see people respond,” Trump said to reporters last week.

A manhunt was well underway for the shooter of Charlie Kirk, and it finally produced results after Tyler Robinson was arrested for the crime.

The 22-year-old accused assassin is accused of firing the fatal shot at the married father of two young children.
