The European contingent had a message for the POTUS after their 15-13 win, posting a video in which they were heard singing “Are you watching, Donald Trump?”
Trump responded via his social media platform, Truth Social, writing: “Yes, I’m watching. Congratulations!”

Team Europe Left It Late
Team Europe was expected to have a walk in the park after entering Sunday with a 12-5 lead, needing just two points in singles competition to secure victory. However, the U.S. won seven of the first ten matches, with Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay, and Collin Morikawa getting big wins.
Tommy Fleetwood landed the decisive blow, beating Justin Thomas to earn the 14th point for the Europeans, while Rory McIlroy beat Scottie Scheffler, finishing 4-0-1.
The visitors won all four team formats on U.S. soil for the first time ever. McIlroy and Fleetwood combined for 7.5 points while Scheffler and Jordan Spieth failed to score.
Captain Luke Donald said the team was the most resilient he’s ever led.
On a more sour note, the Europeans were subjected to disrespectful treatment from American spectators, suffering relentless verbal abuse throughout the tournament.
McIlroy’s wife, Erica, was reduced to tears after someone threw a drink on them from the crowd on Saturday. A fan was also thrown out for a rude comment made toward her.
