Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was caught on camera sniffing a banned substance during his team’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday night.

The Rodgers vs. Joe Flacco showdown, referred to as the “Unc Bowl” by fans online, was way more entertaining than anyone expected. But Flacco leading his new team to a 33-31 win was the real shocker of the night.

Cincinnati won it late with a 36-yard field goal after Rodgers connected with Pat Freiermuth to tie the score 30 apiece before Pittsburgh went ahead with a PAT.

That play, a 68-yard touchdown pass, came shortly after the quarterback sniffed smelling salts, rolled his eyes back, and got ready for the snap. He narrowly escaped a tackle and found a wide-open Freiermuth in the middle of the field for the eventual score.

Check him out in the clips below:

While smelling salts and other inhalants are banned by the NFL, there is a caveat. Players can bring their own to the game and sniff on the field as long as they aren’t distributed by a team.

Rodgers did the same thing during a win over the Minnesota Vikings late last month, this time finding DK Metcalf.
