Former football star gets shot and killed in a McDonalds parking lot.

Tysean Berry has an entire community in mourning after his tragic death. His tragic death was a result of an altercation in a McDonald’s drive-thru. It left the 25-year-old Howard County man shot dead.

On Friday, December 19, officers responded to the 8700 block of Washington Boulevard at approximately 3:30 a.m. Once cops made it to the scene, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man was identified as Tysean Berry. He was quickly taken to a hospital in critical condition. Berry later died, according to police. Howard County police arrested the suspect. He has been identified as 22-year-old Christian Kinuthia. Officers arrested him on the scene.

He has since been charged with second-degree murder and first-degree assault.

Gun violence is, unfortunately, a way of life in the United States. A member of South Oak Cliff High School is wanted for shooting his teammate. He is said to have accidentally shot him hours after they won the State Championship.

Last month, New York Jets star CB Kris Boyd was left in critical condition following a shooting. He is on the road to recovery.

More On Tysean Berry

Around 3:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting and a man with gunshot wounds. Police say Tysean Berry got into a fight in the McDonald’s parking lot with a group of people. That group included Christian Kinuthia.

Kinuthia allegedly shot Berry and remained on the scene. No one else was injured. The victim was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore in critical condition, police said.

“The victim and a group got into some sort of altercation in the drive-thru of the McDonald’s,” said Seth Hoffman, a spokesman for Howard County police.

“This spilled into the parking lot, where witnesses say the victim approached the group, including the suspect. An altercation occurred. At that time, the suspect shot the victim. The suspect did remain on the scene, and he was arrested at the scene.”

Berry was a football standout at Hammond High School. His presence will truly be missed.
