Former sports host turned social media influencer Holly Sonders is taking heat for a provocative video she posted on her Instagram feed with her boyfriend, professional boxing legend Oscar De La Hoya.
Sonders, 37, has been dating De La Hoya, the former champion boxer, since 2021. They both shared a racy video on Instagram, only for it to be taken down.
“We both posted a funny video an hour ago,” Sonders wrote in a post on her Instagram Story. “It got taken down on both our accounts due to lames reporting it.
“Oscar’s had 6000 comments in 30 minutes. I guess some ppl really hate to see us having fun. The good news … we will be back tomorrow with more.”
De La Hoya added a statement of his own.
“I just got taken down! My last post was all in good fun and hater’s [sic] reported it who hate seeing me happy,” he wrote on his Instagram Story.

While Sonders and De La Hoya were trying to have some fun on social media, many are ripping them for the provocative video they shared.
“Geez. Who wants to see that,” one fan wrote.
“Wait! So Instagram doesn’t want to become a hell like X?? Okay,” one fan added.
“He’s always been a weirdo..” one fan added.
“There was a time when she was considered a serious sports journalist on at least 2 major 🇺🇸📺networks,” one fan added.
Sonders, who previously worked for Fox Sports and the Golf Channel, has since turned into a bit of a social media influencer. The Ohio native has close to 700,000 followers on Instagram.

Clearly, she likes to push the limits when possible. This time, though, she went too far.
