When Deion Sanders signed with Nike, he made it clear that the Colorado Buffaloes would be outfitted with new uniform combinations.
It looks like those uniforms will come with brand-new helmets as well.
As rumors circulate about new football helmets for the 2024 season, excitement is building in Colorado.
This week, somebody got ahold of the new helmets for the Buffs, as it showed that they were somehow holding an all-black helmet with the Colorado Buffaloes emblem on the side.
To go with that helmet was an all-white facemask.

Colorado head coach Deion Sanders stated earlier this month that he and his staff would be wearing custom headsets on the sideline that match the helmets for the Buffaloes players this season.
“Coach Prime will wear eight unique headsets throughout the season, designed to coordinate with his team’s helmets and prominently featuring the Aflac logo,” the school said last Monday, per PRnewwire.com. “Each headset was meticulously created to match the Buffaloes’ on-field uniform combination every week so Coach Prime’s game looks will be in sync with his players.”

The new headsets will make their debut when the Colorado Buffaloes kick off the season on Aug. 29 against North Dakota State.
Colorado Buffaloes Hoping To Improve On 4-8 Record
Coach Prime’s preseason hype made the eventual 2023 Colorado football season’s results a failure.
The Colorado Buffaloes ended the season with a final record of 4-8, a significant jump from their 1-11 mark before Sanders came to town. However, it was a tough way to end after a 3-0 start to the season.
Colorado went 1-8 in Pac-12 play and ended the season with six consecutive losses.
Now, the team has a cast of new talent and have high hopes of finishing with a winning record.
