Shedeur Sanders Is Going To Wear New York Giants-Color Themed Cleats During Alamo Bowl

Shedeur Sanders seems to have a ‘Empire State of Mind’

During a practice ahead of Saturday’s Alamo Bowl game against BYU, Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders teased that the cleats he planned to wear during the bowl game would heavily hint at what team will select him in the 2025 NFL Draft.

“We know where we’re going, baby … We know where we’re going, baby,” Sanders said. “You’ll see them in the cleats later on this week.”

Well, true to his word, the color of Sanders’s cleats for Saturday’s game did indeed point to one NFL team: the New York Giants.

The Giants (2-15) currently are slated to have to the No. 1 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. This isn’t the first time Sanders has hinted about his desire to be a New York Giant. Earlier this month, he was spotted playing catch with Giants WR Malik Nabers in the streets of New York City.

As for the Giants, they’ve been pretty interested in Sanders, as well with GM Joe Schoen taking multiple trips to Boulder, Colorado to visit Sanders.

Time will tell if the Giants own the No. 1 pick – there’s still two weeks left to decide that but one thing is for certain, if New York does own the top pick, Sanders seems to be their guy.
