Travis Hunter nearly ended two incredible young careers in one fell swoop on Friday night.
The Colorado star was in attendance at the Polynesian Bowl on Friday night and watched 5-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore make a scintillating one-handed catch over two defenders before running 30 yards into the end zone with an elusive dash.
The Oregon Ducks commit dropped the Griddy in celebration before spotting Hunter running towards him for a shoulder bump. Moore rushed in for the bump, too. However, the Heisman winner slipped at the last moment and wiped him out, throwing him into the air. He landed on his back in a scary fall.
“Every NFL Team was nervous watching Travis Hunter during this Touchdown Celebration 😂,” an X user wrote as the caption to a video of the scary incident.
Another added, “Every NFL GM just held their breath watching @TravisHunterJr almost get hurt 🤣.”
Travis Hunter Must Have Had Everyone Frozen In Time
Travis Hunter and other players went to Dakorien Moore to make sure he was okay. He somewhat writhed on the ground before getting up.
Moore was named Co-Offensive MVP of the bowl game alongside USC Trojans 5-star commit quarterback Husan Longstreet at the end of the game.
Fortunately, neither player got hurt in the awkward celebration.
