After months of promising the public that the JFK files would be released, the Trump administration have angered many with what they have
The wait is over. After more than 60 years, the classified files on the assassination of former 35th President John F. Kennedy have been released.
The 43-year-old, known commonly as JFK, was shot dead while riding in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas, by Lee Harvey Oswald – who was camped out in a sixth-floor window of the Texas School Book Depository, at around 12.30pm, on November 22, 1963.

The Democrat was sat in the back of an armoured Lincoln convertible limousine, alongside his wife Jacqueline Kennedy, Texas Governor John Connally, and his wife, Nelly Connally.
He became the fourth president to be assassinated, as well as becoming the subject of numerous conspiracy theories over the years.
Now, after President Donald Trump signed an executive order to release classified files on his assassination when he was just five days into office (January 25), the public are finally free to read all about what has become one of the biggest events in modern history.

Yesterday (March 18), the 78-year-old Republican – who would have been 17 years old at the time of JFK’s death – released 80,000 pages of documents, ending the 22,397-day wait to see what cops had written about the murder.
But the files that he released were heavily redacted – even after the Trump administration insisted that they wouldn’t be.
Much of the papers were poorly scanned or faded, making it impossible to read, while some contained illegible handwriting.
However, there is one thing above all that people have all noted, and that’s that what has been released is already widely known – having been released by the Biden administration two years before hand.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: “Just ran the JFK files thought chat gpt. It’s the same s*** Biden released. MAGAs got f***ing played again.”
A second typed: “The JFK Files contain REDACTED versions of files that have already been released un-redacted.
Just like with the Epstein Files. We’ve been played.”
While a third reacted: “WOW! Did Trump really just release all of the same JFK files that Biden released in 2023?”

Before adding: “The only difference? The top of Biden’s says ‘2023 Release’ and Trump’s says ‘2025 release’ and the word ‘secret’ is crossed out in Trump’s release.
“I haven’t gone through every file but at least a huge portion of these are all the same files that Biden released.”
They weren’t the only ones to comment on social media: “Trump released the same JFK files that Biden released in 2023 lol > fell for it again award.”
