The Hawk Tuah girl looks set to climb in the cage as she calls out JoJo Siwa for a potential fight, as a former professional MMA brawler offers to train her.
So you’ve just earned worldwide fame and adoration off the back of a racy casual comment made in a street interview, what’s your next logical step? Scrapping in the ring with a pro dancer and singer of course.
Haliey Welch got invited by Asim Zaidi to attend the Karate Combat fight on July 25 between Sam Alvey and Antonio Arroyo. During the event, he asked the Texan who she would want to fight in a match.
Welch chose Siwa, and combat sports fans were up in arms about the potential match up.

But, despite the purists’ protests, the fight could very well be much closer to coming to fruition after a former world No.1 stepped up to offer her services.Michelle Waterson, the former No. 1 women’s atomweight fighter in the world and former Invicta FC Atomweight Champion, has offered Welch professional tuition.
After the Karate Combat event, Waterson talked to Welch and made the proposition to the 22-year-old if her fight with Siwa is green lit.

“Listen here girl, if you do end up fighting Jojo Siwa, come down to Albuquerque,” Waterson said. “I’ll train you, alright? We’re gonna get her to Albuquerque, we’re gonna get her ready for karate combat.”
She then asked if Welch was ready for that, to which she gave an enthusiastic, “Hell yeah.” Not everyone was confident in Welch’s fighting abilities, however, with Mike Majlak insisting the internet sensation “does not want that fight”.

He claimed Siwa would “demolish” Welch, adding: “Jojo Siwa is like the Bradley Martyn of the female influencer community.”
Siwa has not responded to Welch’s challenge, however, so it’s unclear if the match will take place.
